Jerry Dubose (below), staff member and day-to-day manager of The Lord's Gym, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 30th after succumbing to a lengthy battle with cancer. Jerry worked for FOCAS 12 years and was used by God in the lives of men, women, and children alike.

Affectionately known as Brother Jerry, he always had an encouraging or prophetic word for those he ministered to in the Gym (located at 12th and Race Streets in Over the Rhine). He helped to create a welcoming atmosphere in the Gym so that all who entered knew they were welcome. It permitted him to build relationships quickly.
His goal was to reach the men who were wasting their lives selling drugs and putting their lives at risk on the streets. Because of his ministry, many people came to know Christ and discontinued their destructive lifestyles. These men have become leaders in the Gym, the community, and are now having an impact in the lives of other men and women.
He is survived by his wife Donna Dubose.
