My heart and passion is to get the church people out of their pews and into the harvest field. In fact, my favorite saying is this. "I have been in the ministry for over 20 years and I don't know much, but one thing I do know is we will never win a city just sitting in the church pews.
I honestly believe we are living in the last days and that the return of Christ is imminent. The signs of the return of Christ are all around us. If we are going to win the lost and be a part of this end time harvest we must act now. We cannot leave this task to the next generation.
Matthew 25 makes it clear that we are to use our time, talents, and treasures, to advance the Kingdom of God. It is here that we are commissioned to take the presence of God beyond the 4 walls of the Church and into the hospitals, nursing homes, jails, prisons, and to the hurting, the hopeless, and to the hungry.
I encourage you today to take the great commission seriously and to become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to a hurting and broken world.
If you decide to do this, one day when you stand before the Throne of God, you will hear these words from the Savior, "Well done thou good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23
