The
Lord's Gym
Since 1993, the
Lord's Gym has provided an opportunity
for men to grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically while pumping iron. Located at the corner
of Race and 12th Streets downtown, the Gym offers a variety of
weight lifting equipment and opportunities for Christian fellowship. Bible studies
take place three times per day. Because
the gym hosts on average 400 patrons each month, hundreds of people
have heard and responded to the gospel of Jesus. We have seen God
help men overcome their addiction problems and become productive people.
Bob Clarke, Director of Men's Ministries, has been involved with the Lord's Gym since the very beginnning. He gives direction and oversight to the staff and facility located at 12th and Race Street. In addition, he oversee's Jerry's House...a live-in discpleship program for men located at 64 East McMicken St. The management staff includes Robert Dothard (pastor of Central Assembly of God).
